False color infra red photo. I processed the raw file in Digital Photo Professional and then I adjusted the colours in Photoshop.

has the 350d an ir-blocker ? i have heard a lot of these dslr have one and you can bypass it with a long shutter speed... is that true ?

Yes, most(if not all) digital cameras have IR blocker. In 350D it's a really good IR blocker so you need to use longer shutter speed to get a good exposure. Some cameras are more sensitive(=ir blocker lets through more IR light) to IR but you'll still have to use long shutter speeds.

...and IR filter, like Hoya R72, is needed to block visible light when taking IR photos.
